Proper study design is essential in the development of environmental research and monitoring programs. RiverStone has extensive experience designing studies and monitoring programs. Our studies are designed to be practical and defensible and range from small, volunteer-based research projects to detailed studies of water chemistry, benthic invertebrates, fish, amphibians, reptiles, and breeding birds. RiverStone also has experience developing and implementing cost-effective construction monitoring and supervision programs. We have RAQS-certified ecologists on staff, allowing us to work on projects administered by the Ontario Ministry of Transportation.
RiverStone has experience developing, implementing, and evaluating water quality and aquatic toxicology monitoring programs. We have completed projects for a variety of stakeholders, including lake associations, golf courses, municipalities, and development groups. Our staff includes an experienced limnologist and aquatic toxicologist to address any of our clients’ water quality issues.
